Your relationships with people aint what ya‘ thought' a’.
You aint livin like ya brother!
Your back in those jeans that ya dint wana!
And it’s back to work
Welcome to the January blues
January can be a tough month for us to get through ,often we’ve over spent, over eaten, drank too much and feel beaten!
Here’s some top tips to help you defeat those January blues
Daily hydration will not only help with better thinking, it can help prevent attention deficit disorder in children and adults.
The reason why it is important to drink plenty of water throughout the day for optimal brain function is because your brain does not have any way to store water and so will take water from other parts of the body unremorsefully like the eyes and the digestive system. But do not hydrate with sugary drinks – they simply feed the not so good bacteria.
7. Learn to love what you think you hate! Also embrace the pain. Growth comes from feeling uncomfortable, to build muscle to get stronger you have to rip and tear the muscle fibre for it to repair and rebuild itself back stronger!. No pain no gain, no gain no progress, no progress no happiness, no happiness no joy, no joy no life. It’s funny cause we avoid pain and head towards pleasure thinking that, that will make us happy and it does for a while But it’s not sustainable pleasure. Eating & drinking everything you want all the time eventually leads to pain. Pain is a more sustainable path to pleasure. The feeling of personal accomplishments brings self-worth, dignity, happiness and joy. Fear makes us avoid pain. Face your fears and find your joy!
8. Look after your emotional health ………. Realise that your emotions are the key to your health and wealth if you are stressed, frustrated, upset, angry, sad. You cannot feel happy, safe, secure, loved. Learning that nothing is more important than to be happy with now is a ‘life hack’ that keep your head above water. Repeating a mantra like ‘Everything’s going to be ok, everything always works out for me’ is always a quick way to improve your emotional wellbeing. Developing a practice of saying something nice to someone at least once a day not only programs your brain to look for nice things in your environment but it also makes you feel good!.
9. Clean your body internally with a cleanse or fast, think of it like having a professional valet or a service on your car, a well-deserved Yearly maintenance.
10. Develop a new self-care regime. It could be going to the sauna, developing a new weekly skin care regime, having a massage a manicure a hair treatment. But implement something from you to you. If you don’t take care of you…. Who will?
